Sikh Pilgrimage Tour

Destinations Covered : Delhi - Rishikesh - Joshimath - Govind Ghat - Ghangariya - Hemkund Sahib - Ghangariya - Govind Ghat - Badrinath - Srinagar - Mussoorie - Paonta Sahib - Ropar - Anandpur Sahib - Amritsar - Delhi

DAY 1 Delhi - Rishikesh (DRIVE 225 KM)
Early in the morning after breakfast drive down to reach Rishikesh (via. Gaziabad, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Roorkee, Haridwar). Enrout stop at Chital Grand for tea break. Later proceed to Rishikesh. Reach Rishikesh and check-in the Hotel for lunch & overnight stay. Evening at leisure.

DAY 2 Rishikesh - Joshimath (DRIVE 257 KM)
Morning after breakfast drive to Joshimath (via. Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Nandprayag and Chamoli). Enroute stop for a tea break at Kudiyala, Lunch at Srinagar evening tea break at Pipalkothi. Upon arrival at Joshimath check-into the hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 3 Joshimath - Govind Ghat - Ghangariya (DRIVE 21 KM TREK 14 KM)
Morning after breakfast drive down (21 Km) to Govind Ghat and then trek (14 Km) to reach Ghangariya. One can find tea shops all the way till Hemknd Sahib and can have lunch enroute. Reach Ghangariya and check-in the tourist banglow / hotel / tented camp.

DAY 4 Ghangariya - Hemkund Sahib - Ghangariya ( TREK 12 KM)
Early in the morning start trekking (6 Km) to reach "HEMKUND SAHIB". One of the most revered of all Sikh Shrines, The Hemkund Sahib, the Worlds Highest Gurudwara, is situated at an altitude of 4,329 mts. In the afternoon trek down to reach Ghangariya for overnight stay. Evening is free for rest & relaxation.

DAY 5 Ghangariya - Govind Ghat - Badrinath (TREK 14 KM DRIVE 23 KM)
Morning after an early breakfast trek down (12 Km.) to reach Govind Ghat. Then proceed your journey to Badrinath. Upon arrival at Badrinath check-in the Hotel for overnight stay. In the evening visit the famous Hindu temple of Badrinath. Badrinath is considered the holiest of the four Hindu shrines in the Himalayas The principle idol in the Temple is of black stone & represents Lord Vishnu seated in a meditative pose.

DAY 6 Badrinath - Srinagar (DRIVE 189 KM)
After an early breakfast proceed your journey via. Joshimath to reach Srinagar. Upon arrival check-in the hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 7 Srinagar - Mussoorie (DRIVE 188 KM)
Morning after breakfast drive down to reach Mussoorie enroute visiting Rishikesh & Dehra Dun. Reach Mussoorie and check in the hotel for overnight stay. Rest of the day is free at leisure.

DAY 8 Mussoorie - Paonta Sahib - Ropar (DRIVE 203 KM) - Early in the morning after breakfast drive to "PONTA SAHIB" via Dehra Dun. Guru Govind Singh, the 10th Sikh Guru lived here. His weapons are displayed in the town and his Gurudwara still overlooks the river. Later in the afternoon drive down to reach Rupnagar (Ropar). Upon arrival check-in the tourist banglow / hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 9 Ropar - Anandpur Sahib - Amritsar (DRIVE 236 KM) - In the morning after breakfast drive down to reach Amritsar enroute visiting ANANDPUR SAHIB. Later proceed to Amritsar. Upon arrival check-in the hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 10 Amritsar - Delhi - Early in the morning visit the famous "THE GOLDEN TEMPLE". Amritsar, founded in 1577 by Ram Das, the fourth guru of the Sikhs, means Pool of nectar, referring to the sacred tank around which the Sikhs' Golden Tempole is built. Rest of the day is free at leisure and in the evening transfer to the railway station to board the Shatabadi Express to Delhi. Upon arrival at Delhi railway station tour terminates.
